As a child, Jill Crompton says her hands were never still, she was always drawing, painting, creating. This passion can be seen in her work, currently displayed at The Crowded Lounge cafe at Latrobe. The exhibition hosts a collection of paintings by Mrs Crompton, a mix of both landscapes and portraiture.
Many of her pieces are inspired by the Tasmanian countryside, which Mrs Crompton says reminds her of her homeland of England.
